We have a long history of supporting local charities and community organisations. Volunteering in the communities we live and work in brings many benefits, and that’s why we support our employees with the option to take up to two volunteering leave days per year.
Volunteering comes in many forms, sharing professional skills through things like one-to-one mentoring, being a school governor or taking part in a community project; or it could be a team challenge like sprucing up a garden at a nearby school or helping out at a local retirement home.
In May 2019, we announced our Mental Health & Wellness pledge with MIND.
In addition, we have lots of great tools to support our people with Mental Health and Wellbeing like a 24/7 employee assistance programme for employees and their families launched by Nestlé, mental health training for all of our people, the Time to Talk initiative which runs monthly, Mental Health First Aiders, and of course, our Pets at Work scheme which brings tremendous health and wellness benefits to our office.
